Privacy Policy

Nightlink AI is designed to keep its core conversation experience on your device. This policy explains what information the app uses and when information may be sent to another service.
Information used on your device
With your permission, Nightlink uses microphone audio to recognize speech and conduct a live conversation. Conversation history, settings, downloaded models, imported voice files, and voice profiles are stored locally on your device. Nightlink does not require an app account.
Speech recognition
Nightlink requests on-device speech recognition when it is supported by the selected language and the device. If on-device recognition is unavailable, Apple’s speech-recognition service may process audio or transcription data under Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
Model downloads
When you choose to download a local model, the app connects to its model host, including Hugging Face, to retrieve the selected model files. The host may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and request metadata.
Optional Fish Audio
Fish Audio is optional and is used only when you select it and supply your own credentials. To generate speech, Nightlink sends the response text and selected voice model identifier to Fish Audio. Fish Audio processes that information according to its own terms and privacy practices. Your Fish Audio API key is stored in the iOS Keychain.
Tracking, advertising, and analytics
Nightlink does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics. The developer does not sell personal information collected by the app.
Deleting your information
You can remove conversation history, downloaded models, imported voices, and service credentials using the app’s controls. Uninstalling Nightlink removes its locally stored app data, subject to normal device backup behavior.
Children
Nightlink is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
