Nightlink AI keeps its conversation experience on your device. This policy explains the local information the app uses and the optional model-download process.
Information used on your device
With your permission, Nightlink uses microphone audio to recognize speech and conduct a live conversation. Conversation history, settings, downloaded models, imported voice files, and voice profiles are stored locally on your device. Nightlink does not require an app account.
Speech recognition
Nightlink requires on-device speech recognition. It does not fall back to server-based recognition. If an offline recognition language is unavailable, the app asks you to install or select one instead of sending audio away from the device.
Model downloads
Only when you explicitly download a model does Nightlink connect to the model-file host, Hugging Face. That connection downloads static model files; it never uploads microphone audio, selected audio files, transcripts, prompts, conversation history, contacts, photos, voice samples, or generated responses. Hugging Face is a file host for this download and is not used to process conversations or provide AI inference.
Offline conversation
Transcription, language-model reasoning, and voice generation run locally after the models are installed. Nightlink does not send microphone audio, selected audio files, transcripts, prompts, generated responses, conversation history, or imported voice samples to the developer or any third-party AI service.
Tracking, advertising, and analytics
Nightlink does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics. The developer does not sell personal information collected by the app.
Deleting your information
You can remove conversation history, downloaded models, and imported voices using the app’s controls. Uninstalling Nightlink removes its locally stored app data, subject to normal device backup behavior.
Children
Nightlink is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as the app changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version. For privacy questions, use the developer contact link on Nightlink AI’s App Store product page.
